Nicholas M. Silverberg
Nicholas "Nick" M. Silverberg, 22, passed away September 1, 2016 at home following a battle with opiate addiction. Nick is survived by his wife Kelsey (Schoenig) and daughter Autumn of Worcester, his mother Maria (Lonchiadis) Silverberg of Shrewsbury, his father Michael Silverberg and stepmother Cindy Crowninshield, his maternal grandmother Sharon Lonchiadis of Shrewsbury, 2 sisters Jessica of Rhode Island and Kaitlyn of Shrewsbury, along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Nick was known for his larger than life personality and interest in bodybuilding and weightlifting. His desire was to become a personal trainer and help those trying to make a better life for themselves. A graduate of Shrewsbury High School, Class of 2012, he served in the US Army stationed at Ft. Drum prior to his discharge. Most recently Nick worked for a medical supply company in Maine.
Nick's family requests that memorial donations be made to the Autumn Silverberg Support Trust c/o Middlesex Trust 2 West Union St. Ashland, MA 01721.
All are invited to join his family at calling hours Wednesday, September 7, from 4-7 pm at the Roney Funeral Home, 152 Worcester Street, Rt 140/122, North Grafton.
