No matter where she was Karen lived in the moment with great joy embracing the people and places she called home throughout her life. She'll also be remembered for her warmth and kindness, particularly toward the elderly. During the time she lived in Upton, MA she worked as a home health aide to the elderly and found great reward in the work. On a summer afternoon she also could be found with a fishing rod in hand or on a boat ride with friends.
