GRAFTON – Josephine (Sharameta) Talbot, age 96, a long time resident of North Grafton, passed away peacefully on December third. She leaves her devoted husband of 67 years, John Talbot. Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Frances (Grykziewicz) Sharametta. A graduate of Commerce High School and Fairchild Office School, she worked at N.Y. Life Insurance and at her father’s business, The Charles Restaurant. Josephine is survived by her five children, Joanne Quinn and her husband James of Princeton, Mary Jane Purcell and her husband William of Woodbridge CT, James Talbot of Grafton, Patricia Talbot of Hingham and Dennis Talbot and his wife Sally of East Orleans. Gram is also survived by her seven grandchildren, Daniel and Joanna Quinn, Brendan Purcell, Vivienne, Jack, John Paul and Michael Talbot. Josephine leaves behind a sister, Dorothy Kuczka of Millbury, and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Joseph Sharameta of West Boylston. A member of The Westborough Country Club, The Grafton Garden Club and The Worcester Music Guild, Josephine was an avid golfer and skier. She greatly enjoyed time in her garden, especially tending her roses. All are welcome to gather with Josephine’s family from 4 to 6 pm on Thursday December 8th at The Roney Funeral Home, 152 Worcester St. in North Grafton MA.
