GRAFTON: Helen M. (O’Bara) Kuras, 92, passed away December 19, 2016 following an illness. Her husband Frank J. Kuras predeceased her. Helen is survived by her son Paul Kuras and his wife Deborah, daughter Deborah Kuczinski and her husband Wayne, grandchildren Andrew Kuras and his fiancé Sharon Sedgwick, Jeffrey Kuczinski and Lisa Noel and her husband Jason along with many nieces and nephews. Helen was also predeceased by her brothers Stanley and John O’Bara and sisters Jennie Cabral and Josephine O’Bara. Helen was born April 4, 1924 in Taunton, MA daughter of the late Aniela (Pysz) and Joseph O’Bara. Helen worked for many years at Press Wheel and Burgess Leather. She and her husband Frank moved to Grafton after they were married where they raised their family and were happiest close to home where they could spend time with their grandchildren. In lieu of flowers please honor Helen with a memorial donation to The Grafton Food Bank PO Box 321 Grafton, MA 01519. All are welcome to gather with Helen’s family and friends Friday December 23rd from 10:00-11:00am at Roney Funeral Home 152 Worcester St. N. Grafton, MA 01536 followed by a prayer service at 11am in the funeral home. She will then be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery in South Grafton.
