Obituary for Violet M. Stuart (Therrien)

UXBRIDGE - Violet M. (Therrien) Stuart, 82, passed August 7, 2017 at Milford Regional Medical Center from complications of heart problems. Her beloved husband of 54 years, George D. Stuart passed in 2009. She is survived by ten children; Donald Stuart and his wife Patricia of Webster, Ronald Stuart and James Stuart both of Uxbridge, John Stuart of Florida, Brenda Brown of NY, Pauline Cook, her husband James of Linwood, Cynthia Freeman, her husband Michael of Holden, Sandra Muse, her husband Bill of Uxbridge, Susan Brown, her husband Thomas of Northbridge and Tina Mc Lellan of Auburn. She also leaves 25 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren. 2 Sisters, Marcella Greene, Mildred Paille, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by another son Frederick and 11 other of her siblings. Violet was born in Grafton April 28, 1935 to Henry and Lucille (Donais) Therrien where she was raised and educated. Violet was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who loved caring for her many grandchildren. She was former President of The CB Clippers of Uxbridge, loved doing crafts and was a strong country music fan particularly enjoying singer Scotty McCreery with whom she had communicated with several times. Her family suggests you honor Violet with Memorial Donations to The Uxbridge Food Pantry, 19 Douglas St. Uxbridge MA 01569 in lieu of flowers. Funeral services at The Roney Funeral Home, 152 Worcester St. in North Grafton are Friday August 11th at 11 AM. She will then be laid to rest next to her beloved husband George at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Uxbridge. There will be calling hours also on Friday August 11th from 9 to 11 AM at the funeral home prior to her service.
