GRAFTON: Janet Marie (Dauphinais) Charest, 83, passed peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday August 29, 2018 after a brief illness. She was born November 23, 1934 to Alfred J. and Alexina (Lavallee) Dauphinais and was educated in the Worcester Catholic school system graduating in 1952. Janet was married 55 years to Leo Charest who passed in 2009. She leaves behind four children, Stephen Charest and his wife Donna of Grafton, Annette Mangaudis and her husband Robert of Andover, Minnesota, David Charest and his wife Diane of Northbridge, MA and Gisele Cote and her partner Raymond Moloney of Millville, MA. She will be lovingly remembered by her 9 grandchildren: Daniel, Jason, Amanda, Elizabeth, Patricia, Robert, Kayla, Lindsay, and Matthew along with their spouses. She was also blessed with 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.. She is survived by her sister Doris Beauregard and she was predeceased by her brothers Emile, Armand, Albert and Roger Dauphinais. She dedicated years of her life as a volunteer in the Grafton schools and at her church, St. Mary's Parish in North Grafton. Her enjoyment in life came from gardening, cooking, and spending time with her entire family. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday September 4th at 11:00am at St. Mary's Church 17 Waterville St. North Grafton, MA 01536.
