Obituary for Lori Wilson
GRAFTON: Loralee “Lori” (Phillips) Wilson, 67, passed way February 10, 2022 at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester. Her husband John Wilson passed away in 2016. Lori is survived by her childrenJohn E. Wilson, Rebecca Wilson,Matthew Wilson and his wife Michelle. Her grandchildren, Matthew Jr., Travis, Jacob, Layden and Zaniel, She also leaves her siblings Bruce Phillips and his wife Jo-Anne, Robin Phillips-Cancelli, Bambi Lavoie and her husband Michael, Tammie Boulanger and her husband Michael, Scott Phillips and his wife Virginia, Daren Phillips, Justin Phillips and his wife Jennifer. Her brother in-law James Ross and the late Kimberlee Ross. Lori was born June 8, 1954 in Northbridge, MA, daughter of the late Thelma (Stott) and Eldred Phillips. Her roots were in Grafton where she lived for most of her life with her husband John and her children. Lori was a fighter, two battles with cancer, marfans syndrome, 5 open heart surgeries and extream scoliosis, but she never gave up. Time spent with her large family was always first for Lori as she was happy being close to home. She loved animals e specially horses and has pass that love for animals down to her doughier Rebecca. She was a devoted member of the Union Congregational Church in South Grafton and taught Sunday School there for many years. She worked at Hanover Insurance for more than 30 years. Her selfless nature and warmth will be what those who loved Lori remember most. In lieu of flowers please honor Lori with a donation to The National Marfan Foundation atwww.Marfan.org. All are welcome to gather with Lori’s family and friends Tuesday February 15th from 4pm to 7pm at Roney Funeral Home 152 Worcester St. N. Grafton, MA 01536. A prayer service will be offered for Lori Wednesday February 16th, 11am at the funeral home. She will then be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery in South Grafton.
