Pat was a neighbourhood mom. She had her own brood and their friends milling around all the time but I rarely ever saw her cross. I have lots of memories of Pat. One that comes to mind is she and other moms were chit chatting at one of the many yard sales she had and she made this comment. "I don't know what Patty is doing be she keep breaking he belt loops." Us kids looked at each other because we knew why. You see, we would tie either other together by our belt loops and go ring door bells in the neighbourhood and then run away, so we all had broken belt loops. Pat made her comment as a matter of fact. Being surrounded by chaos every day with 9 kids, one would have expected her to be frazzled all the time. She just wasn't that way. She was most often even keeled and this is how I remember Pat.

On behalf of my dad and the entire Murphy family we are so sorry for the loss of your dear mom. Many happy memories with you all in the backyard in Grafton. She was a beautiful soul with a smile that always touched your heart. Love, Kathy

We have missed randomly running into Pat and seeing her wonderful smile, since she had been so ill.
Her eyes always had that twinkle when she would spoke of her beloved family.
To the entire Castonguay family, may God help heal your broken hearts as only He can do.
